Booster Plug
We are excited to introduce the BoosterPlug for BMW motorcycles.
It solves a major problem shared by all modern motorcycles in that it slightly enriches the fuel mixture which due to emission laws tend to be set on the too lean side as standard from the factory.
This affects different models to lesser or greater degree and this is where the BoosterPlug really gets to work, smoothing out throttle response (especially in traffic) increasing the fuel/air mixture throughout the rev range and making the bike so much more pleasant to ride, we have personally tried the BoosterPlug on the following models and have been amazed with the results:

- K1200R 2007
- K1200GT 2007

- GS650 Dakar 2003
- K1300S 2009
- F800GS
The best thing about the BoosterPlug is it's plug and play, no fiddling about with extra wiring (it piggybacks onto the airbox temperature sender) and you don't need a laptop for changing maps etc, the BoosterPlug sets your fueling to the optimum setting for the whole rev range, over the full riding temperature range, after all most people just want their bike to run nicer and enjoy the riding not the time in the workshop.
- Improved and softer throttle response.
- Enrichment of Fuel/Air mixture when you open the throttle will improve acceleration.
- Remove the Jerky low speed running that is typical for modern lean burn engines.
- Stronger and more reliable Idle.
- Reduced Puffing in your aftermarket exhaust.

Installation
Installation is really easy - Just follow these steps to install the BoosterPlug:
- Locate the Air Intake Temperature (AIT) sensor in the airbox and unplug it
- Check your manual if you dont know where to find the sensor.
- Connect the cable from the ECU to the BoosterPlug using the OEM connectors - no cutting or splicing needed.
- The BoosterPlug contains a male and a female connector, so you can't connect them the wrong way.
- Connect the BoosterPlug to the AIT sensor in the airbox - still using the OEM connectors.
- Route the wire with the NTC resistor to a place where the NTC is not effected by engine or radiator heat and zip-tie it in place.
- Do not place the external sensor behind Cylinder Heads or Radiator.
- Install it in a location where the sensor is recieving a reasonable amount of cool air when you ride your bike.
- Go out and enjoy your bike
